It’s Fall! I love fall with the only exception that it means winter is on it’s way. (winter being my least favorite season)
The leaves on the trees are just ever so slightly changing right now and I’ve spent the last couple of days getting out the fall decor to cozy up the house a bit.
It seems that everyone is crazy about all things pumpkin. Starbucks has their pumpkin spice latte. I even saw some pumpkin scented lotion and soap at the store the other day.
There are two sizes. One is 5″ and will fit in your 5 x 7 hoop and the other is 8″ for those of you who have the bigger hoops.
I stitched it out on hardanger cloth and put it in an embroidery hoop. Then I found a scrap of black gingham ribbon and made a bow. I topped the bow with a button strung with baker’s twine and also tied it in a bow. I’m lovin’ how it says fall!
Welcome to the third and final day of the Embroidery It Christmas in July Event.
Create a garden sign or hang on your door and wall as you think about those giant white fluffy snowflakes covering the ground.

Here are the exact sizes:
Large: Size=274.0 mm x 197.0 mm (10.79 inch x 7.76 inch)

The design is done in 2 hoopings, one for “Let It” and the second for “Snow”. There is no additional stitching required. Dowel rods are inserted for stability and hanging and then connected together using ribbon. Buttons and bows can be used to embellish.

It’s Saturday. It’s a beautiful day to make something. I hope that means you will find it to be a relaxing day and be able to spend some time at your embroidery machine or doing something you truly love.
Today’s design is for those of you with those larger hoop sizes. It’s a Beautiful Day to Make Something comes in two sizes. One for your 5 x 7 hoop and the other for your 8 x 12 hoop. Exact sizes are in the Etsy description which you can find HERE.
I used a 12 x 16 pillow form for the pillow and added a bit of rick-rack for some fun country charm.
Make it a great day everyone and happy embroidering,
It seems like word art, phrases and sayings are all the rage these days. You see them on everything. Why not do them with machine embroidery? It is a fun way to add a bit of personalization and decoration to our space.
Every Day I Need comes in 2 sizes. The smaller size fits in your 5 x 7 hoop and the larger size fits your 8″ and larger hoops.
I’ve also included a basting stitch around the design due to the larger size and to help ensure its stabilization. It is removed quickly and easily after the design is stitched. Or if you don’t want it, just advance your machine past the first color stop.
You can frame it in a regular frame or for some added fun, use a regular embroidery hoop and add a pretty bow. You can also make a beautiful pillow with this.
Think of all the fun things you can monogram. Think of all the LARGE things you can no monogram!
Be sure you get the Oversized and Regular sized letter O this week while it is available at the introductory price. The Oversized letter O fits the 6 x 10 hoop and larger while the Regular sized fits the 5 x 7 hoop and smaller.
Be sure to read in the description for the sizes in each. Both come in three sizes. The Oversized requires a 6 x 10 hoop or larger and the Regular sized takes a 5 x 7 hoop or smaller.
Just a quick reminder that the Oversized and Regular sized letter M is intro priced this week in the Embroidery It Etsy store. Each comes in 3 sizes. The Oversized fits the 6 x 10 hoop and larger while the regular sized fits the 5 x 7 hoop and smaller. I place the bobbin in the photo just to give you an idea of its actual size.
Please see the Etsy description for exact sizes. They can be found here:
If you are like me, you are busy getting things ready for Christmas around the house. I won’t take up much of your time here but I want to let you know that the Oversized and Regular Sized Letter K sets have been released at the intro price of only $1.00 this week.
The oversized letters are beautiful on pillows, tree skirts, table runners, grill covers, mixer covers and more. Basically they are great for those large items we want to embroider on.
The regular sized letters are perfect for shirts, aprons, purses and more. Please note the exact sizes are listed at this time on the home page of the website as well as in the Etsy store.
I finished the garden flag I had been working on for my dear brother and Sister-in-law. I embroidered the design onto ogsnaburg fabric which you can find at the store located with the utility fabrics. Then I stitched on the ribbon stripes and finally backed it with duck cloth. When turned right side out I did a bit of topstitching around the edge as well. I didn’t use a pattern, just kind of winged the design myself using an existing garden flag for the approximate size. For the finishing touch I added a bow out of the same ribbon that was made the stripes. I think I need a bit of bow making practice. 🙂
This was the first one I made and have now made a couple more since using burlap which was fun to stitch on. In hindsight, I wish I would have bought some purple Kansas State wildcat fabric to create the monogram letter R. Maybe I will just have to make them another one next year.
The small font was built into my machine but the applique letter “R” is from 8 Claws and a Paw.
Just a reminder that the letter I is intro priced this week in the Embroidery It Etsy Shop. The oversized design comes in 3 sizes designed to fit the 6 x 10 hoop and larger. The regular size fits the 5 x 7 and 4 x 4 hoops.
Just want to remind you that the Oversized Letter F and the Regular sizes are only $1.00 this week in the Etsy shop. Both sets contain 3 different sizes. Please see the description for the exact sizes. The oversized letters are made in the 6 x 10 hoop and larger and the regular sizes are made in the 5 x 7 and 4 x 4 hoops.
And of course we all know what F stands for…Machine Embroidery FUN!
The letter E has been released in both 3 super sizes and 3 regular sizes. The oversized letter E requires hoops larger than a 5 x 7 and the regular sizes can be made in the 5 x 7 and 4 x 4 hoop. Please see the description both here on the website and in the Embroidery It Etsy store for exact measurements.
It is a good size for those large monogramming needs.
Today’s post is brought to you by the letter D! Hehehe…Remember that from Sesame Street Days?
Oh my goodness. I don’t know how or why I even thought of that.
Anyway, I’m writing to let you know that I’ve posted the oversized script and regular sized script letter D in the Embroidery It Etsy shop for only $1.00. It will remain at that introductory price for about a week so now is the time to grab it.
A great “D” word is Daddy if you want to embroider a special man something nice.
Just want to write a quick note here that the oversized monogram letter B is available for only $1.00 until Wednesday. It will then go to it’s regular price as it is replaced with the letter C.
The oversized letters come in three sizes to fit the 6 x 10 hoop and larger. There is a regular size set with three sizes to fit the 5 x 7 and 4 x 4 hoops. Exact sizes are on the website home page or on the Etsy shop item description.
I placed the bobbin in the picture so you can get a good idea of the size.
These oversized monograms are a fun way to personalize a variety of items around the house. Monogrammed pillows make for great Christmas and wedding gifts.
I’m happy to announce the debut of oversized machine embroidery monograms!
Now that I have a larger machine I am excited to try larger size digitizing and I’m starting with my script monograms.
Each letter is/will be offered individually in 3 sizes which require hoops larger than 5 x 7.
These oversized monograms will be perfect for items such a pillows, seat covers, grill covers, Christmas tree skirts, wall hangings and so much more.
Currently one letter is released at a time – approximately a new letter each week. As each new letter is released it will be offered for only $1.00 which will be %50 off the regular price.
Now for those of you whose hoop size is 5 x 7 or smaller, never fear. A regular size set of the same letter, again in 3 sizes is also available. As with the oversized set, this regular sized set is also offered at an introductory price of only $1.00.
These smaller sized monograms will look beautiful on items such as shirts, jackets and more!
Enjoy working with monograms friends. I’d love to hear what you enjoy stitching monograms on.
