If you are like me, you are busy getting things ready for Christmas around the house. I won’t take up much of your time here but I want to let you know that the Oversized and Regular Sized Letter K sets have been released at the intro price of only $1.00 this week.
The oversized letters are beautiful on pillows, tree skirts, table runners, grill covers, mixer covers and more. Basically they are great for those large items we want to embroider on.

Thank you so much for requesting more of the candy holders. I’m pleased to let you know that the Christmas Candy Holder set has now been released and is available in the Etsy shop. 
This is the PERFECT time for you to use that Embroidery glitter fabric or other fun fabric you have in your stash. Glittery fabric absolutely sparkles on the Christmas tree. Burlap is so popular right now and these ornaments work well with that as well. Also think about stitching on some beads or buttons. How sweet would that be!
These candy holder designs can be used as Christmas ornaments, attached to a package, place settings at the table, hung on doorknobs or hung on garland that spirals up the staircase. Let your imagination go!

You are getting your homes all spiffed up in beautiful colors of golds reds and browns. Fall is such a gorgeous time of year.
To help with your decorating needs The Banner Acorn has been released. It is designed to coordinate with the Banner Letters which are available in the Etsy store. You can get the Banner Acorn HERE.
The banner items can be used to decorate your front door, office, classroom, dorm room and camper. They are a freestanding applique that you can use any fabric to match your room. The button holes are the final stitch stop and can be eliminated so the acorn becomes an applique which is perfect for a fall hot pad or placemats and more!

Actually today will be more show than tell. I have been participating in the Farm Girl Vintage quilt along from the Fat Quarter Shop using Lori Holt’s book Farm Girl Vintage. I love these scrappy country quilts. In this quilt there are 42 blocks! That is a lot of fabric cutting friends. 🙂 I post my quilt pics on Instagram if you would like to follow along. It has been a good week. We’ve been to visit Emily at college and meet some of her sorority sisters as well as take her out to dinner one evening.
I feel productive in that we have accomplished much around the house this week so things just feel in order and feel peaceful. I need that. I strive for calm and peace in our home. More often than not it isn’t this way. It isn’t necessarily chaos, but I don’t like it when I have that nagging feeling that this or that needs to be done. So as I go to bed tonight I am thankful.
But before I go to bed, I want to give a quick reminder to grab the Let’s Celebrate Banner Letter G while it is free on the website homepage. It will be here until Wednesday when I will change it to the letter H. After that point it goes up for sale in the Embroidery It Etsy shop.

Hi Friends,
I’ve been having so much fun with my Rick Rack Alphabet! My embroidery machine has been busy. As the snow melts I’m certainly looking forward to warmer weather. I also wanted to create a banner for my eat in kitchen area. I will be putting the banner up very soon!
Can’t you just tell I’m dreaming that the thermometer will soon rise 🙂
Then I’ve always had in the back of my mind spelling out “Merry Christmas” with the Rick Rack Alphabet and using silver rick rack. I got started with the letter M this past week. Along with the yo-yo looking like a flower, it certainly looks like a lollypop so I’m going with the candy theme here. The little embellishments are from “Dress It Up.”
Finally, more requests have been coming in asking for the remaining Rick Rack Alphabet letters. I don’t have them all completed but here is what I am going to do. The letters will still be free, one each week, but as I complete other letters further down the alphabet, I will have them in my Etsy store. This way if you don’t want to wait for them to be free, you have the option of grabbing them sooner. I won’t promise when the additional letters will be available, so be sure to pick in from time to time.
