I’ve been on a freestanding lace creation kick lately. I’m just having so much fun making these little designs that are useful for gifts and tags and IMHO just darn cute. When a finished project can be made in just minutes, that is the best.

Now, this is completely off topic, but just sharing a bit about what is happening here. Friends, I wish you could all come to my home and we could embroider in the fresh outdoors. (Not really practical here in Michigan, but it would be fun.) All the wildlife has had their babies and a mama deer was with her twin babies with fresh white spots and wobbly legs right up at my back gate. Behind the fence in the wooded area is a mama fox with her three little kits. And in a woodpile is a burrow of tiny bunnies. They have the littlest and most adorable hops in the yard. It is just pure preciousness outside right now. Then there are baby chipmunks and squirrels and lots of birds with their eggs a hatchin’. You notice I’m leaving out the negative animals…bugs, snapping turtles, and snakes. We have our share of those too.
