Dear Friends,
I’ve just completed my latest set, Reverse Applique Heart Ornaments. I’m very excited with how they have turned out and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Reverse Applique is a fun and easy machine embroidery technique. I’ve included step-by-step instructions.
There are three different designs in this collection of sweet felt hearts that are perfect for gift giving or for decorating for Valentine’s day.
They use a beautiful reverse applique technique that allows for several options. You can applique a coordinating fabric or a photo in the center of the heart.
You can also applique clear vinyl in the center allowing for something to be placed inside the heart and yet show through. Fill with your favorite candy or even some coins for someone special.
They can be stuffed or remain flat.
Blessings everyone. Have a most wonderful day!
Nancy
where is the link to buy these or download them??
Hi Deb,
For the free design, as you scroll down to the bottom of the home page you will see the pictures of the alphabet letters on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen is some text. Written in “GREEN” in the text is the link. It is an instant download. For the designs for sale please visit my Etsy store at http://www.embroideryit.etsy.com Hope this helps!
Blessings,
Nancy

Hi Nancy, I bought your beautiful revers applique Valentine set but I’m afraid I don’t understand the instructions. What do you mean by first stop, and so on? Some drawings or pictures of the steps would be helpful.
Hi Deb,
As you stitch out the design, your sewing machine will stop stitching at different points. The first stop is when you only have your stabilizer hooped and the stitching does an outline on the stabilizer. Then the machine stops. You are now to place your fabric and felt down over the stitching. Press the start button and it will continue to tack down the fabric and felt. Then your machine stops again, the second stop. After that it will stitch the design and will stop for each color. Does this make sense? Let me know if you still need help with this.
Blessings,
Nancy
Thanks, I think that will help.
