I’ve had the pleasure this past week of working hand-in-hand with a mother whose precious daughter requires tube feedings. She uses feeding pads on her daughter because the pads protect delicate skin and can help prevent granulation which can be painful. Gauze and tape can be a skin irritant so we experimented for the best alternative.
We examined the feeding tube pads from all angles to create the perfect size and shape for absorbency, comfort and ease of use. Note the light stitching and the off set center. These both help to make this the perfect feeding tube pad. As an added plus they are fun and fashionable 🙂
