Thank you all for joining in to this month’s Embroidery It Sew Along on Tuesday, January 8 at 2:00 PM Eastern. 

Friends, this is an opportunity in which we can stitch together and you can ask questions, It will be live on the Embroidery It Facebook page, and should run approximately 30 minutes.

The intent of this sew along is to teach new embroiderers applique and a basic in-the-hoop project, but I’m happy to have embroiderers of ALL levels joining in.

As you finish your coasters, please use the hashtag #embroideryitsewalong so we can see everyone’s beautiful finished work.

Here is a list of all the supplies you will need to sew along with me.

Supplies

• 75/11 embroidery needle
• 2 Pieces felt cut 5” square
• 1 Piece cotton fabric cut 5” square
• Light weight tear-away stabilizer
• Card – I made my cards from cardstock by cutting an 8 ½” x 11” piece of paper in half. Folded size of card is 4 ¼” x 5 ½ ”.  You may use premade cards.  Weight of paper is standard cardstock weight.
• Thread
• Painter’s Tape
• 11” ribbon – I’ve used a narrow ¼” wide ribbon, but a wider ribbon could also be used.
• Embellishments as desired.
• Size A2 Envelopes which is 4 3/8” x 5 3/4”
